Hey guys,
I know it has been a while since we have posted anything here…
We’ve had a crazy couple of days! We will be posting plenty of pictures and our story tonight (Kenya time).

Hey guys not quite in Kenya yet! Just boarding the plane to Nairobi now
Planes have been fine, but obviously rather tedious. Can’t wait for some proper sleep. Tim and I have had about all of about 30mins rest so far!

Hey guys,
The last couple of days have passed really fast. Now there’s less than twelve hours to go!
We’ve had an awesome weekend full of BBQs, parties, paintball and just generally hanging out with friends & family. We’ll miss you guys!

P.S. When we get to Nairobi, Kenya it will be 7pm local time. So we won’t actually get a good look of the orphanage until the morning. It’ll be a pretty crazy experience to wake up amongst it all
YAY last week of work has begun for Bentley and I. Today I went to work to find a whole heap of donations for the orphanage.
Sporting equipment, clothes, scrapbooks for the children to write in, crayons, toys such as cars & pirate ships. Lots of goodies for the kids! I thank all those Children at work and their mums and dads for contributing to this cause.
Tim
Hey guys I’m so excited, but at the same time still getting used to the idea that I will be so far away from my friends… And family. All I keep thinking is that this will change me as a person and I’m going to come back home with a new understanding about the world we all live in. Less than 10 days to go…
Tim
I won’t write much here, that’s what the about page is for, but basically we’re a team of 4 ordinary Gold Coasters travelling to an orphanage in Kenya for 3 months. This won’t be a missionary trip, not that we are opposed to such things, but our main goal is simply to help the children and the orphanage to survive.
At the moment we are still in Australia, but eagerly watching the calendar!
Obviously we can’t post much until we finally leave, but until then we will share some of out initial thoughts.
